I’ve been using Nichebot for the past 5 months, and it’s about time that I review it. I recently recommended it to another web site publisher, and he didn’t really like it. He’ll be switching to his previous (but more expensive and limited) keyword research tool. I, on the other hand, will be sticking with Nichebot for a while. Here’s why:
It’s affordable. I live in a third world country, so the price is the first thing I look at. I subscribed to the Lite Researcher package, which costs a little less than $10.00 per month. That’s more than my water bill, and half my electric bill. Now, I’d never sacrifice quality for price, which leads me to my next point.
You get access to a lot of paid tools for less than what you’d pay for them in the market. You’ll get access to WordTracker’s paid results, Keyword Discovery, WordTrend analysis, and Google’s Keyword Cruncher. Using these tools costs “credits”. For the Lite Researcher, you get 50 credits per month. The Avid Researcher gets 130. If you find that your current credits are not enough, you can buy additional credits. Personally, I’ve never needed to purchase additional credits. Apart from the paid tools, users also have access to the data of several free tools in one simple interface. This includes the free WordTracker results, the WordTracker Thesaurus, Keyword Density, Keyword Analysis, and other tools especially made for PPC purposes. The official WordTracker tool costs $30 per week if you go to the official WordTracker site, so your costs would be much less if you use it via Nichebot (even if you’re a power user).
The available educational tools such as reports and videos are a great bonus. You can watch several training videos, including how to use Nichebot and a Total SEO Course. There are other articles included as learning aids, such as various LSI reports and articles – but sometimes they sound more like sales letters. Still, the Free LSI report shows you how to get great longtail keywords for free – this can be very helpful if you’re into deep keyword digging.
Now, Nichebot isn’t perfect. Here are some things about it that could be improved:
- It has a steep learning curve. However, if you use the downloadable PDF and videos, you can easily get the hang of Nichebot.
- The copy of some pages sounds like sales letters. This is one of the things that really turned me off in the beginning, especially when I was ordering. But after the ordering process, you’ll rarely encounter these pages.
Nichebot is very comprehensive, making it an ideal tool for SEO practitioners and those who want to do their own SEO. The information you get is also helpful for Pay-Per-Click campaigns, especially the PPC ROI calculator. Overall, it’s an invaluable tool that every serious web publisher should have.
